The site also has direct access to the Buckleaze-Westbury railway link (which forms the southern boundary) that was used by Lafarge Cement Works with a rail head. Recreational facilities including a golf course and fishing lake are located immediately beyond the railway link. Several clay pits and ponds are situated in close proximity, forming the northern and eastern boundaries to the site.
