RG21 Parklands, London Road, Basingstoke

Until recently, the building was used as one of the Basingstoke & Deane Councillls administrative buildings but is now surplus to requirements. The 2nd floor of the three-storey building is already let to the local Police Constabulary.

A central ground floor reception point offers access to either wing of the ground floor and to the 1st floor via the main stairwell or passenger lifts. Toilets are shared on each floor, and it is proposed that the kitchen at 1st floor level also becomes shared. Subtenants could, however, create their own facilities if preferred.

Parklands is situated in London Road close to the traffic light junction with New Road. The Council offices, Registry Office, Law Courts and Memorial Park are all within proximity. The Upper Town centre amenities and shops lie to the west, within walking distance. Various public car parks are available to supplement the private parking provision that is offered.

Junction 6 of the M3 motorway is within 1½ miles drive and the railway station is less than a 10-minute walk. Basingstoke thrives on excellent communication links, being strategically positioned in North Hampshire and on the central M3 corridor.
