A deconsecrated former church, in the grounds of St Audry's, a former psychiatric institution and Hospital. The site is now called 'Melton Park', which has been converted to residential dwellings, and is also home to St Audry's Golf Club. The property has previously been used as on office/storage facility. It has electricity connected, but would need water and drainage connecting, and the

installation of new WC/welfare facilities. The property is served by a gravel driveway from Calder Road, with a small parking area at the top, to the side of the property, able to accommodate a

small number of cars.

The former church site is located in the south-eastern sector of the Melton Park residential area, and comprises the former grounds and building of Melton Park Church, on the western side of Calder Road. The site is approximately square in plan, with a truncated north-eastern corner. The former church is situated in the south-western quarter of the site. A small area adjacent to the south-east corner of the former church is occupied by rows of mid-20th Century gravestones. The remainder of the site comprises open ground (grassland), with a dense row of trees and foliage along the northern edge and sparse trees distributed along all the other edges. The areas of ground with trees and foliage on the northern side, and north eastern corner of the site, also include sparse standing gravestones of mid 19th to early 20th Century date.Location

The property is located in Melton Park, on the outskirts of Melton, on the banks of the River Deben in the county of Suffolk. Melton is situated 1 mile north of Woodbridge and 10 miles north of Ipswich. The mainline railway station at Woodbridge provides a regular service from Ipswich to London

Liverpool Street, and Melton railway station provides a service to Ipswich, with a journey time of 25 minutes
