Formerly home to the Belvedere Power Station, the site has been brought forward over the last 5 years by DMI Properties Ltd. and Axa REIM. The site has been successfully re-developed and is home to two American companies, Office Depot International (ODI) and Iron Mountain. ODI are better known as Viking Direct, probably the biggest office supplies company in the UK, following their recent acquisition of Guilbert Print. They moved into their 310,000 sq ft (27,900 m²) facility in 2001, which at the time was the biggest speculatively built industrial building of its kind in the UK. Iron Mountain are one of the biggest information storage companies in Europe and have established a 250,000 sq ft (22,500 m²) facility to service their customer base in London and the South East. ASDA have bought the freehold of a 220,000 sq ft (20,500 sq m) M25 distribution centre which completes the development of this site. The company also has planning permission to extend the speculatively built unit by 115,000 sq ft.
