Link 66, due East of Darlington and north of Morton Park, comprises a greenfield development site of some 72 acres (29.2 ha) allocated within the Local Plan for employment purposes. The development proposals allow for the development of 137,000 sq ft of B1 offices, some 1.3 million square feet of warehouse and factory accommodation, some 38,000 square feet of hybrid business units together with ancillary roadside uses including an hotel and a pub / restaurant.
