The second shopping centre to open in Sutton Coldfield and was named the Sainsbury Centre until Sainsburys closed their store; the name was later changed to The Red Rose Centre. Home to a library, shops and a night club, the Red Rose Centre is a major part of Sutton town centre. On the first floor is Sutton Coldfields main library and beneath is an array of shops. In the basement is Suttons only nightclub, Fever. The centre has its own multi-storey car park with access from Victoria Road.
