St. Petersfield was masterplanned by the late Andy Robson, a renowned Manchester architect who created many of the citys landmark buildings. His concept was to overlay a new office development on Ashtons existing Georgian street pattern, creating an environment with a character that will endure.Totalling c.320,000 sq ft predominantly for business use, St. Petersfield will have the all-important amenities overlooked by other business parks including cafés and traditional pub/restaurants with a crèche planned in the next phase. The town centre with further leisure and retail amenities is only a 5 minute walk away. The office development will become available in several phases with buildings from 3,770 sq ft up to 40,000 sq ft plus 940 dedicated secure parkingspaces provided for business occupiers. The competitive financial terms at St. Petersfield have been made possible by a £14 million investment by English Partnerships, Northwest Regional Development Agency and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.Over £1.75 million of this investment will ensure a landscaped environment of the highest quality, creating a real sense of place for occupiers.
