Trinity Walk
Trinity Walk will transform Wakefield when it opens in the 2013. With more than 50 exciting new shops, restaurants and cafés, a 1000-space shopper car park and much more besides, it’ll be a new way of life for the city.
Situated in the north eastern corner of Wakefield’s new inner city ring road, adjacent to the recently opened market hall and the new bus station.
A consortium comprising AREA Property Partners, Sovereign Land and Shepherd Construction has secured a major property development loan with an £82m package for the development of the 500,000 sq ft retail-led Trinity Walk scheme in Wakefield. They got the scheme back on track in January (2010) the amount of steelwork erected on site has more than doubled, with over 1,000 tonnes being installed in the last three months, and now due to open in Spring 2011.
