Developed by Hammerson and opened in 2000, WestQuay has established Southampton as the regions premier shopping destination. Many of WestQuays retailers are unique to the region, including flagship fashion and lifestyle stores. Recent openings include Pandora and YO! Sushi. Jones the Bootmaker and TM Lewin will open in Autumn 2010. Hammerson has signed a Development Agreement for the next phase of Southamptons regeneration, Watermark WestQuay, on a 2.4 hectare site adjacent to the shopping centre. Planning consent was granted in April 2009 and the multiplex cinema opportunity is being marketed.
