Braehead Shopping Centre opened in September 1999, the first phase on one of the countrys largest riverside regeneration projects. Now one of Scotlands leading destinations, it offers a wide choice of shopping and leisure including skating, curling, the Maritime Heritage Centre, an arena which plays host to national and international events and a business park. Braehead is situated right in the heart of west central Scotland, just 10 minutes from Glasgow city centre. Based at junction 26 (eastbound) and junction 25a (westbound) of Glasgows M8 motorway.
