Coppergate is a modern shopping complex in York city centre, anchored by a 40,000 sq ft Top Shop/ Top Man. It is home to a number of high street stores. Body Shop, Dolcis, Clarks Shoes, Fenwicks, Boots, Evans, Thomas the Baker, Thorntons, Gullivers, Starbucks, Marks & Spencer to name a few along with cafes and museums, including the Jorvik Viking Centre. Owned by La Salle Investment Management since February 2008, the centre is an open-air shopping promenade with covered walkways and large public squares.
