Location
Situated on a quiet road in the pretty village of Beetley Otter's Mead is well placed for holiday visitors being within easy drivingdistance of the Heritage coast (Wells 20 miles & Cromer 25 miles) and Norwich (21 miles). Local attractions include Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse, the Mid Norfolk Railway with its popular steam trains and walks on Beetley and Hoe Meadows.
In the village there is a Thai resturant and pub. The A47 and the market town of Dereham (3.5 miles) ,known as the "heart of Norfolk" are to the south. Dereham offers a wide range of amenities, including Tesco supermarket, shops, banks, a health centre, dentists, golf and sport clubs. Norwich provides even more extensive facilities, notable schools and numerous recreational and cultural interests. The Broads are within striking distance. The mainline station at Wymondham links to London, whilst the A11 provides connections to the M11 and further afield.
